See and Feel

See and Feel

When you are blind what are colours to you?
What is yellow, red, black, white or blue?
What are trees, flowers, sunshine or life?
What are people, beauty, happiness or a wife?

There are no colors to blind people.
No sunshine, no rain, no snow.
No rivers, trees, flowers, high or low.
No beauty, no happiness, no life.

But there is help for those blind.
Help for them to see again.
Help to see happiness, sunshine.
Help for a better way to live.

Then there are colors for us blind.
There is yellow, red, black, white and blue.
There is sunshine, rain, snow and life.
There is happiness, kind people, joy and beauty.

You can see trees, flowers and fields.
You can see creeks making rivers forming the sea.
You can see hills, mountains and plains.
You can see houses, light and nature.

If you can see, life is to you like music.
Like music never ending, soft and happy.
Like it’s pulling you up and out of the darkness;
Out of the darkness to see life, happiness and beauty.

This is how you feel when you can see again.
Full of happiness, never ending happiness.
Life is worth living for you again.
Being able to see and happiness make life.

Sun Halo

Yesterday was a sunny day with big dark clouds moving in (and this morning it rained).
While I was outside for a moment and looked up (enjoying the warmth and also noticing the "bite" of the sun)
I saw, through my brown toned sunglasses, a rainbow in the clouds.

Looking toward the sun for a second I saw that it was forming a complete circle around the sun. =))

So, I got my camera and set on beach/snow took a shot. It turned out well - not as colorful as it was with my brown sunglasses though.

My first sun halo!!
 =))

Original image "straight out of the camera"
Same image - now with some brightness reduction and sharpness added.
And yes, moments later this phenomena was gone *poof* vaporized like the clouds.

Be like a Butterfly

Just  a little poem I wrote about half a year ago:

Be like a Butterfly

get a move on
shine your light
unfold your wings
fly to the rainbow
in the heavens
have no fear
and no worry

Low Water in the Creek - update II (or III)

So, it rained very strong all of last night. When going to work this morning, I checked the water level.

Now it has the level that is "normal" for this part of the creek.
But actually, it  is just "high" water running off as the dry soil could not take it all in such a short time.

Here the photos: the water is still dirty from the heavy rain.

To compare them here the links to the other creek posts:

I actually have even more photos by now - but with the growing green at the edges it's hard to see the low water. Maybe I'll make a post with showing the different levels (chronological) from always the same place. These shown here are the ones I can access most easily all the time as they are from a bridge!!
